Hispanic/Latino Community & Arthritis

In September 2003, the NDB expanded its research to serve the Spanish-speaking community. Spanish language versions for all of our research and clinical questionnaires are now available, without charge, to rheumatologists for use in clinical patient care. The NDB is also able to provide Spanish-speaking interviewers for assistance with research questionnaires.

Telephonic data collection in progress The NDB works with rheumatologists to store results of clinical and questionnaire assessments in a research data bank. Questionnaires can be scored by the NDB and results faxed back immediately to rheumatologists for use in patient care. Rheumatologists have full access to their data bank and may join in collaborative research. In addition to paper questionnaires, the NDB has electronic (email) and Web-based methods of data collection available. CLICK HERE for example of fax-back questionnaire scored results…
