Dr.Gregersen is Director, Center for Genomics & Human Genetics, The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and Professor, Molecular Medicine,Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Originally trained as a rheumatologist, Dr. Gregersen, has been working in the area of genetics for more than two decades and has led several major inter-national consortia to study the genetics of rheumatoid arthritis,systemic lupus,myasthenia gravis,myositis and other autoimmune disorders.He has spearheaded the development of robotic biorepository and informatics resources to support his studies.
